Sika has subsidiaries in 100 countries around the world and manufactures in over 300 factories.

We had been challenged to recruit candidated with rich experience and reasonable speaking English level for a brand not very well-known in the region.

The fields included: sales, management, finance, production, HR.


We’ve carefully studied the organizational chart, performed salary analysis and gathered insights that we then shared with the client.

One of the main challenges was the strict requirement of the client that for all the candidates that we submit to be able to have an interview in English. While in the building sector, experience in which was also part of client’s demand, there are very few opportunities to apply English skills, as investors are mostly Russian speaking. So we’ve tested English level of each candidate and had to refuse even very experience and relevant candidates.

Each CV included our detailed comments regarding previous experience, biography, unique competences and relevance regarding the desired position. Per the request of our client the gathered recommendations were described extensively and included in CV. We also translated CVs into English if needed as it was the requirement from the HQ to overlook the flow of final candidates.

Frequently when it was needed to negotiate the compensation package, we stepped in and ensured that both side will reach consensus.

We used various recruiting techniques:

  • Executive search among competitors;
  • Talent sourcing;
  • Promoting the opportunity and contacting candidates directly via social networks, by recommedations.

By March 2020 года 25+ various positions had been filled: BC manager, Logistic manager, Office manager, TM Manager Concrete, TM Manager Industry, Finance Controller, Regional Controller, HR director, Customer service manager, B2B Sales manager, Chief Accountant, Production director, Technical consultant and so on.
We’ve ensured that the best talent is identified and employed by the company. Almost everyone has built a successful career within the company and is working to this day. And some even relocated to EU and became a part of Sika Europe.
